In august 9th, tecnoPARQ got a visit from the researcher of Avans University, Guilherme Reis. He has graduated in chemical engineering at UFV and now is a part of the program Living Biobased Brazil, a partnership between Brazil and Deutschland.
Representing tecnoPARQ, Francylara Miranda, presented the park and how it works, the programs, services and companies associated. Guilherme could get to know our incubator and our shared lab, as well as the companies Profitus and Rizoflora. The visit had as an objective to straighten the relationship between dutch researches and the companies, looking forward partnerships.
Guilherme Reis is a researcher of a bio plastic called PHA, that is made from residues of sewage treatment. The focus of his research is to optimize the process of the plastic’s extraction.
