Next Friday, September 27th, the Technology Park of Viçosa will promote the 2nd edition of the Impact Business Seminar. In this edition, attendees will understand what an impact business is and how to guide your business to it. The following subject will be addressed: What are social impact businesses and some numbers of Brazil and Latin America; How agile and lean startup methodologies contribute to this ecosystem; and Cases of success and failure.
The lecture will be given by economist Ellen Carbonari, graduated at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul. Elen acted as a consultant in more than 70 innovative businesses related to social impact. She is a partner and Head of Impact of Semente negócios, designing and coordinating programs to promote impact ecosystems, sectoral innovation and territorial innovation, as well as impact business acceleration programs. She finished her graduation with extensive research in Economic Anthropology. She is coach of AoEC, conflict mediator and group facilitator of the EcoSocial Institute. Worked as a consultant and project manager at Equilíbrio Assessoria Econômica, ItaúBBA, Renner and Sesc. She believes that entrepreneurship is the most effective way to develop people and ecosystems and that soon all businesses will need to be impact business.
