The sensor to accurately measure the volume of milk in the cooling tanks, developed by Volutech's team, pre-incubated startup at tecnoPARQ, was placed 4th at Vacathon 2018, an event that is part of Embrapa Gado de Leite's Ideas for Milk Program. The winning solution was to measure the milk temperature in the tank and send the data to an application.
Vacathon brings together 100 university students from all over the country camped at Brazil's leading agricultural research company for 5 days. The program starts at the farm, seeing in practice Embrapa's different research areas related to milk production. Later, leading digital companies introduce their software, application, sensor and equipment development solution packages.
